Arabella was four weeks old on Saturday- I can't believe how her first month just flew by! She has already brought us so much joy. I can see how she has grown- this little outfit from her Great Uncle and Auntie in Texas barely fits her!
We are seeing our midwife on Wednesday so I'm excited to see how much she has grown!
Yesterday I had her down for tummy time and she was lifting her head so high! When we hold her she looks all around and is getting interested in everything around her. Everyone comments on how happy, strong and alert she is and I think she is starting to recognize us. I went in to wake her for her 1 pm feed and she was already awake looking around. When she saw me she gave a big grin and then she smiled and cooed at us for 15 minutes. It was 'too cute'.
She is so precious. Everyone here is just oohing and ahhing over her cuteness. We all think she looks like our Winnie. Since our girl was early she is just now doing the stuff Arabella is doing, even though she is not four months old. I am thinking your darling is about the same size, too... just judging by the pictures.
ReplyDeleteThank you! Our midwife had to cancel our appointment in order to attend a birth, so I still don't know how much Arabella weighs. How big is Winnie now?
ReplyDeleteI haven't been for her four month check up yet. We were out of town when she was due and I didn't want to take her into the doctor's office in the middle of flu season... however, guesstimating from our scale I have her between 12 and 15 pounds. I can't believe how fast she is growing!
ReplyDeleteThey do grow so fast... sniff sniff... Arabella was 14 lb 11 oz at her 3.5 month check up!
