I've recently started using my wrap with Arabella, it is great for nursing in and she likes to sit in it afterwards and help me with the laundry or housework. She can stay awake a little longer now and loves to look at things, especially the ceiling ;o). I always take her out for naptime though as she sleep longer and better when she falls asleep on her own in her bassinet or crib. My back needs a break too!
With my older kids, I used to wear them alot during play and work time. They always enjoyed it as much as I did and it was great for when we had a day out. My hands were free to hold the other kiddos' hands and I didn't have to try and push a buggy through crowds or between clothing racks in stores. With so many big kids always wanting to hold baby, we don't use the wrap or snugli anymore. Enjoy those days. Having just one to yourself and whole days alone to be together is so rare and so special!!!!
